The composition also contains minerals, primarily Sodium. This is eliminated through perspiration. An acute reduction of salt can cause muscular cramps, weakness and, in extreme cases, hyponatraemia. Its presence in the body increases the rate of water absorption, delays fatigue and reduces the production of urine, increasing fluid levels.
